Elecomms was recommend by a friend who had a home hardwire and WIFI network installed May 2018 and that client was so please with our work they recommended Elecomms to Mr & Mrs L.

The job started out as a standard small home WIFI install as Mrs L "was fed up with having to sit on the stairs" in the middle of the house order to get a good enough WIFI signal to be usable, this was because the WIFI from BT was very week and underperforming due to the thick walls and layout of their older style home in Surrey.

Elecomms carried out a free site survey and proposed installing a few hardwire points for the Smart TV's, Sky boxes & Sonos etc to connect directly to the router enabling them to connect to the internet much faster and so improve the overall user experience with these devices, however the main focus of the works was to get the family much better and more reliable WIFI throughout the ground floor of the house and so to that end Elecomms recommended using three Ubiquiti UniFi Access Points which would easily cover the whole of the ground floor of the property.

After excepting our estimate for the works, we arranged a date to carry out the work, on the day we were walking the clients though the works with kit locations and proposed cable routings etc, when we were asked to add a some more hardwire points in the children’s study which was no problem as we always carry a more kit then we need for that day job for just such occasions and after explaining to the clients that there would be extra costs involved the clients were happy for us to proceed with a new plan of action.

The works all went very smoothly, and the clients were very happy with the end results as you can see from Mrs L's brief message to us following the completed work.
